A LITTLE CLARITY

Before the conversation.

A few considered answers about our approach, the markets we serve, and how an introduction begins.

01

The relationship

Who does Black Sheep work with?

Black Sheep Private Client Group serves high-net-worth individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs, and businesses with complex asset and capital needs. We also consult with asset owners, dealers, brokers, and operators.

What does “by referral only” mean?

Our model is relationship-led. If you have been referred, please name your referring contact when requesting an introduction. If you are unsure how to proceed, you may share the context of your inquiry; submitting a request does not guarantee an engagement.

What is the Black Book?

The Black Book is our curated network of trusted industry professionals, specialists, operators, advisors, brokers, dealers, lenders, builders, and service providers. It is not a public directory. Introductions are considered in the context of a client’s needs and the relevant parties’ availability and agreement.

How do you approach discretion?

We take a considered approach to the information needed for an initial discussion. Please do not send financial statements, account numbers, identity documents, or other sensitive material through the website. If further information is required, an appropriate exchange method can be agreed with the team.

02

Financing & advisory

Which assets do you advise on?

Our focus includes superyachts and yachts, private and corporate aircraft, recreational vehicles, automotive, and commercial real estate. We also advise on yacht and aircraft new-build construction financing.

Are you a direct lender?

Black Sheep operates as a financing brokerage and consulting firm. We help evaluate strategies and relevant financing relationships; financing decisions, terms, and approvals remain with the applicable lender or capital provider.

Can you assist with refinancing or new construction?

Yes. Alongside acquisition financing, our scope includes refinancing and financing strategy for yacht and aircraft new-builds. The approach depends on the asset, project stage, build milestones, and lender requirements.

Do you advise industry professionals as well as owners?

Yes. Consulting can include transaction strategy, acquisition and disposition advisory, dealership operations, brokerage operations, business development, and strategic planning for owners, dealers, brokers, and operators.

Do you guarantee financing or particular terms?

No. Availability, pricing, structure, and timing depend on the transaction, underwriting, due diligence, applicable requirements, and third-party decisions. Website information is not a financing offer or commitment.

03

Beginning a conversation

What should I include in an introduction request?

Your name, email address, referring contact if applicable, area of interest, and a brief description of the asset or objective are sufficient to begin. A broad indication of timing can be helpful. Avoid sensitive financial or identity information.

How are fees and engagement terms agreed?

Scope, fees, responsibilities, and any engagement terms are discussed directly before an engagement is agreed. We do not publish a standard fee schedule because the work depends on the client and transaction.

Does submitting a form make me a client?

No. An introduction request starts a conversation. Any engagement is subject to mutual agreement, applicable checks, and agreed terms. It is not an approval for financing or a guarantee of access to any relationship.

EXCLUSIVE BY DESIGN. BY REFERRAL ONLY.
